Pike Central Girls swim Varsity vs F. J. Reitz High School (52 - 111) Loss Pike Central Boys Swim Varsity vs F. J. Reitz High School (80 - 80) Tie Pike Central Girls Swim Team fell to Reitz Dec.15th at home. Scoring 1sts for PC was Kylie Myer in the 200 IM and the 100 Free. Hope Meny also brought home a 1st in the 100 Breaststroke. The Chargers had a few close 2nd places finishes but in the end Reitz talent and team size was just too much for the Chargers to overcome. Pike Central Boys Swim Team fought hard and tied Reitz Dec, 15th at home. Scoring 1st for PC was Awstyn Luff in the 50 Free and 100 Butterfly, Markis Hutchinson in diving, the 200 Medley Relay of Carter Bennett, Tyler Collins, Awstyn Luff, and Julian Hay. The team of Awstyn, Julian, Carter, and Tyler also won the 200 Freestyle Relay. Pike Central boys fought hard and are satisfied with the outcome with the competition we faced. Both boys' and girls' teams are continuously working and focusing on the start of the new year to prepare for the second half of the season.
