The Charger Cross Country Teams competed in the Crawford County Kick Off Invitational on Saturday. Crawford County High School's Cross Country Course is the new regional site for Southern Indiana Cross Country Teams this year. There were 41 teams competing at the invitational on Saturday. The Lady Chargers had a strong showing with an 11th place finish out of 27 complete teams. It was a very talented field of runners and several larger schools were competing as well. The Lady Chargers had a 1:09 split between their 1st and 5th runners which was pretty solid. The Charger boys only had two runners and were unable to score as a team. The Chargers had 8 runners improve on their times from last meet. The Chargers will compete in the Gibson Southern Class Invitational on Thursday night. Finishing times for the Chargers were: Boys: Taylor Russell (20:40) and Jacob Harker (22:10) Girls: Sadie Franklin (21:37), Alyssa McCutchan (22:04), Audrey Whitehead (22:15), Indiana Hill (22:33), Emiley Riker (22:46), Kylie Meyer (24:13), Eva Cox (27:07), Emily Henderson (48:02)
