Pike Central Middle/High School Athletics

The Charger Cross Country Teams competed at the Heritage Hills Invitational on Saturday morning. The Lady Chargers finished in 3rd place in the 8 team invitational. The Lady Chargers put four runners in the top 20 and were led by senior Alyssa McCutchan who finished in 8th place in a time of 21:11. Lady Charger Finishers: McCutchan (8th), Franklin (12th), Hill (14th), Whitehead (19th), Riker (27th), Meyer (33rd), Cox (47th), G. Hutchason (65th) The Charger boys did not have a team score but saw some considerable individual improvement today and had four runners compete and were led by Taylor Russell in 36th place in a time of 19:33. Charger Finishers: Russell (36th), Aydelott (47th), Harker (59th), Cannon (68th). The Pike Central Cross Country teams will compete in the South Knox Invitational next Saturday.
