Pike Central Middle/High School Athletics

Saturday was senior day for four Pike Central Cross Country runners as they would race at Prides Creek Course one last time. Eleven high school teams and ten middle school teams took the course on Saturday. The high school girls team took a third place finish as they put five athletes into the top 15 and on the podium. Finishing for the girls were: 10th - Alyssa McCutchan (21:23) 11th - Sadie Franklin (21:25) 13th - Indiana Hill (21:45) 14th - Audrey Whitehead (22:02) 15th - Emiley Riker (22:05) 24th - Kylie Meyer (23:09) 38th - Eva Cox (25:37) 62nd - Gabby Hutchason (31:44) 66th - Emiley Henderson Finishing for the boys were: 39th - Taylor Russell - 20:08 48th - Kole Aydelott - 20:38 61st - Kody Cannon - 22:01 68th - Jacob Harker - 23:11 The Charger Cross Country teams will compete next in the PAC meet at Boonville on Oct. 10th.
