Pike Central Middle/High School Athletics

The Charger Cross Country Teams competed in the Dennis Bays Invitational @ Angel Mounds on Saturday. This course is the host site for the 2025 IHSAA Regional in October. The Charger boys did not have enough runners for a team score while the girls team took 6th place out of 15 complete teams. Several Chargers ran season bests or near it on Saturday as this race hosted many local teams from the area. Competing for the Chargers were: Boys: 115th Taylor Russell (20:49), 144th Quintin McCormick (21:57), 167th Jacob Harker (23:13) Girls: 11th Alyssa McCutchan (21:23), 14th Kylee Weathers (21:27), 32nd Emiley Riker (22:52), 52nd Audrey Whitehead (23:42), 67th Kylie Meyer (24:24), 97th Avery Adams (26:02), 111th Kinley Blackwell (26:53), 115th Eva Cox (27:05), 144th Lydia Abel (31:14)
