Played Wood Memorial tonight, and it was a great match up. We felt like Wood played a great game, and their goalie had several nice saves. We couldn't finish a goal and it was 0-0 @ half. The 2nd half we had a few chances in a stretch and should have had a goal, but couldn't finish. With about 15 minutes left, Sadie Willis played a pass behind the.defemse , and Ava Aaserud got the ball on the move, and finished a nice left footed goal past a goalie coming out hard. We won 1-0, and got a goid win. Very proud we figured out a way to win, and our defense held them to a shutout Varsity vs Waldo J Wood Memorial High Win
